Who benefits from the Collin Classic?

The Community

Inactivity is killing us. Americans are gaining weight at an alarming weight. Our children are becoming obese before they reach 10 years of age, Type 2 (adult onset) diabetes is being seen more and more in young children. Now, more than ever, we need to encourage our children, and each other, to be active. The Collin Classic is designed to give people of all ages a good reason to get out in the country for a nice bike ride. You can find a route to fit every fitness level. So come on out and ride for victory!

Local Organizations

For 20 years, CITY House has been providing a safe environment for 10 to 17 year olds in the only teen homeless shelter in Collin County.A portion of the proceeds from the Collin Classic will be used to support their efforts. To learn more about CITY House, click here.

International Organizations

World Hope International does some amazing work all over the world. A portion of the proceeds from the Collin Classic will be used to support The Childrens Village in Manzini, Swaziland. The balance of the proceeds will be used to support bicycle education programs in the North Texas Region.
